History of Mac mini

Mac mini is a line of desktop personal computers that were introduced in 2005 and continues to this day. The Mac mini series until now has been released in five main generations and contained 19 models.

Mac mini from the very beginning was shipped without any display, keyboard, or mouse, to encourage users to switch from PC to Mac. Mac mini series was, is, and will be the cheapest Mac in the portfolio.

Mac mini has been designed to be a small form factor computer that delivers decent performance for a fair price. The machines were intended as entry-level computers and dedicated to budget-minded customers and students.
