The iPhone 13 Pro Max is a smartphone that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2021 to 2022 as part of the iPhone series. This iPhone has been introduced on September 14, 2021, released on September 24, 2021, and its price started at $1099.
The all-new iPhone features a Six-Core 64-bit 3.2 GHz Apple A15 Bionic processor with 5-Core graphics, Apple M15 motion coprocessor, 6.7″ Super Retina XDR OLED Display with ProMotion, GPS, 5G data capability, dual-SIM support through a nano-SIM and an eSIM (Apple SIM), four colors; Graphite, Silver, Gold, and New Sierra Blue, 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB and 1 TB of flash memory, 6 GB of RAM, Wi-Fi 6 – 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC for Apple Pay, Lightning port, nano-SIM slot, Three rear 12 Mpix cameras with Wide, Ultra Wide and Telephoto lens system with LiDAR sensor and Cinematic Mode / 12 Mpix front camera with TrueDepth camera system for facial recognition called Face ID, three-axis gyro, accelerometer, Barometer, Qi and MagSafe inductive charging, and IP68 for water resistance and dust resistance.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max design is nearly identical to the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The new smartphone has a flat chassis analogous to that of Apple’s recent products, but there are some differences such as a larger rear camera lens. The TrueDepth camera system used for Touch ID is now 20% smaller when compared to its predecessors.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max is using an Apple A15 Bionic chip. The Apple A15 features a 6-Core CPU, 5-Core GPU, and 16-Core Neural Engine, while the iPhone 13 and 13 mini feature a 4-Core GPU.
iPhone 13 Pro Max features a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels, a pixel density of 458 ppi, and a ProMotion refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The new Super Retina XDR display is covered by Ceramic Shield, fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating, and features higher typical maximum brightness.
On March 8, 2022, iPhone 13 Pro Max in Alpine Green color was introduced for the same price.
This iPhone has been discontinued on September 7, 2022, and replaced by the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
