The AirTag is a tracking device that was designed, manufactured, and currently sold by Apple since 2021 as part of the Apple AirTag series. The AirTag has been introduced on April 20, 2021, and its price started at $29.

The all-new device called AirTag is an accessory that helps keep track of and find the items that matter most with the Find My app. AirTag can be attached to keys, a handbag, a backpack, and other items. The new AirTag was released on April 30, 2021.

Each AirTag is a small and lightweight device and features precision-etched polished stainless steel housing, IP67 water, and dust resistance, Ultra-Wideband U1 chip for precision finding, a built-in speaker to play sounds to help locate items, and a replaceable battery that lasts for a year.

AirTag features the same setup model as AirPods. Users have to bring AirTag close to their iPhone and it will connect automatically. Users can also assign AirTag to an item and name it with a default like “Keys” or “Jacket,” or provide a custom name of their choosing.

Every AirTag can be personalized by its own engraving and attached to belongings by placing an AirTag in dedicated accessories.

AirTag accessories include the Leather Key Ring in Saddle Brown, (PRODUCT)RED, and Baltic Blue for $35, the Leather Loop in Saddle Brown and (PRODUCT)RED for $39, and the Polyurethane Loop in White, Deep Navy, Sunflower, and Electric Orange for $29.
