History of eMac

eMac is a line of all-in-one personal computers similar to the first generation of iMac. The eMac series was available on the market from 2002 to 2005. eMac was dedicated to the education market but was a cheaper alternative for the second generation of iMac.  

eMac was an entry-level personal computer introduced as an extension for the first generation of iMac but offered the same performance as iMac with a Flat Panel Display. eMac was on the market for almost three years and was released in five versions. Finally, eMac was discontinued when iMac G5 was released.

The first eMac has been introduced on April 29, 2002, and discontinued one year later on May 6, 2003. Today this device is 22 years old.

The second version of eMac has been introduced on May 6, 2019, and discontinued five months later on October 22, 2003. Today this device is 21 years old.
