Xserve RAID SFP Late 2004

The Apple Xserve RAID SFP Late 2004 (3nd Generation) is a mass-storage device that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2004 to 2008 as part of the Macintosh Xserve series. The RAID storage has been introduced on October 19, 2004, and its price started at $5999.

The new Xserve RAID SFP features storage up to 5.6 TB, 14 independent ATA-100 Apple Drive Module Bays, 2 GB Fibre Channel Ports (SFP), DB-9 serial ports for UPS systems, and 10/100BASE-T Ethernet interfaces for remote management.

The product has been discontinued on February 19, 2008.
