System Software 1.0 & 1.1


System Software 1.0 & 1.1 is an operating system that was designed and developed by Apple in 1986 alongside Apple’s Macintosh computers.

Apple released System Software 1.0 on February 10, 1986, and the whole version features mainly bug fixes, which have been fixed problems with data loss and system crashes.

In addition, has been updated Calculator app and Chooser. On April 14, 1986, has been released a compiled version of “Guided Tour 512Ke” for the new Macintosh 512Ke with an updated version of System 3.1.1.

On June 2, 1986, has been released an updated version of System Software marked as “1.1”. This version of Macintosh System Software has been replaced by System Software 2.0.

Today System Software 1.0 & 1.1 is 35 years old!
