The Apple Power Macintosh 8600 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1997 to 1998 as part of the Power Macintosh series of Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on February 17, 1997, and its price started at $2699.

The new Power Macintosh features a 200 MHz PowerPC 604e or 250 MHz or 300 MHz PowerPC 604e Mach V processor, 32 MB of RAM, 2 GB or 4 GB hard drive, 12x CD-ROM or 24x CD-ROM drive, and 1.44 MB floppy drive.

This Macintosh has been discontinued on February 17, 1998.
