The Apple Power Macintosh 6500 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1997 to 1998 as part of the Power Macintosh series of Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on February 17, 1997, and its price started at $1800.

The new Power Macintosh features a 225 MHz / 250 MHz / 275 MHz or 300 MHz PowerPC 603e processor, 32 MB / 48 MB or 64 MB of RAM, 2 GB / 3 GB / 4 GB or 6 GB hard drive, 12x CD-ROM or 24x CD-ROM drive, 1.44 MB floppy drive, and 2 MB ATI Rage IIc graphics.

This Macintosh has been discontinued on March 14, 1998.
