The Power Macintosh 5400 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1996 to 1998 as part of the Power Macintosh series of Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on April 13, 1996, and its price started at $1500.
The new Power Macintosh 5400 features a 120 MHz / 180 MHz or 200 MHz PowerPC 603e processor, 15″ Color CRT display, 16 MB or 24 MB of RAM, 1.2 GB or 1.6 GB hard drive, 4x CD-ROM or 8x CD-ROM drive, and 1.44 MB floppy drive.
This Macintosh has been discontinued on March 31, 1998.
