Power Mac G5

The Apple Power Mac G5 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2003 to 2004 as part of the Power Mac G5 series of Power Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on June 23, 2003, and its price started at $1999.

The new Power Mac G5 features a 1.6 GHz / 1.8 GHz / Dual 1.8 GHz, or Dual 2 GHz PowerPC 970 G5 processor, 256 MB or 512 MB of RAM, 80 GB or 160 GB hard drive, 4x DVD-R/CD-RW “SuperDrive” and 64 MB NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra graphics in the base model.

This Power Mac has been discontinued on June 9, 2004, and has been replaced by Power Mac G5 Mid 2004.
