The Apple Power Mac G5 Late 2005 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2005 to 2006 as part of the Power Mac G5 series of Power Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on October 19, 2005, and its price started at $1999.
The new Power Mac G5 features a Dual 2 GHz / Dual 2.3 GHz or Quad 2.5 GHz PowerPC 970MP G5 processor, 512 MB or 1 GB of RAM, 160 GB or 250 GB hard drive, 16x DVD-R/CD-RW “SuperDrive” and 128 MB NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE graphics in the base model.
This Power Mac has been discontinued on August 7, 2006.
