The Apple Power Mac G4 QuickSilver is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2001 to 2002 as part of the Power Mac G4 series of Power Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on July 18, 2001, and its price started at $1699.
The new Power Mac features a 733 MHz / 867 MHz or Dual 800 MHz PowerPC 7450 G4 processor, 128 MB or 256 MB of RAM, 40 GB / 60 GB or 80 GB hard drive, 12x CD-RW drive or 24x DVD-R/CD-RW „SuperDrive” and 32 MB NVIDIA GeForce2 MX graphics in the base model.
This Power Mac has been discontinued on January 28, 2002, and has been replaced by Power Mac G4 QuickSilver Early 2002.
