Magic Trackpad

The Magic Trackpad is a pointing device that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2010 to 2015 as part of the Apple Magic Trackpad series. The Trackpad has been introduced on July 27, 2010, and its price started at $69.

The Magic Trackpad is a multi-touch trackpad identical to the one in current MacBook computers, but 80% larger and made of glass and aluminum. The trackpad is designed in the same style as Apple’s Wireless Aluminum Keyboard and can sit flush with it.

The entire trackpad can be used as a button; pressing down on it puts pressure on two circular feet below to register a click. The trackpad connects via Bluetooth and is powered by two AA batteries.

This TrackPad has been discontinued on October 13, 2015.

Today Magic Trackpad is 13 years old!
