The Macintosh Performa 588CD is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1995 to 1996 as part of the Macintosh Performa series of Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on April 1, 1995.

The new Performa 588CD features a 33 MHz Motorola 68LC040 processor, 14″ Color CRT display, 8 MB of RAM, 500 MB hard drive, 2x CD-ROM drive, and 1.44 MB floppy drive.

This Performa has been discontinued on May 1, 1996.
