The Apple MacBook Air is a notebook computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple in 2008 as part of the MacBook Air computers. The computer has been introduced on January 15, 2008, and its price started at $1799.

The all-new MacBook Air features a 1.6 or 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 13.3″ TFT Display, aluminum unibody case, 2 GB of RAM, 80 GB hard drive or 64 GB of flash memory (SSD), built-in Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, iSight camera, ambient light sensor, illuminated keyboard, and 144 MB Intel GMA X3100 graphics in the base model.

This MacBook has been discontinued on October 14, 2008.
