The Mac OS X Server 10.0 Cheetah is an operating system that was designed, developed, and sold by Apple in 2001 alongside Apple’s server computers. The system has been released on 21 May 2001, and was available for $499 or was preinstalled on currently sold server computers. This software gets the last update (10.0.4) on 3 June 2001 and later has been replaced by a newer version of Mac OS X Server 10.1 Puma.

Mac OS X Server 10.0 Cheetah is based on the main version of Mac OS X 10.0 Cheetah which introduced inter alia the new Aqua user interface. The server version of the Cheetah obviously offers special features such as Apache, NetBoot, WebDev Support, PHP, MySQL, Tomcat, or Macintosh Manager.

Today Mac OS X Server 10.0 Cheetah is 20 years old!
