The Apple iPod U2 Special Edition with Video (3rd Edition) is a portable MP3 player that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple in 2006 as part of the iPod series. The iPod has been introduced on June 6, 2006, and its price started at $329.

The new iPod U2 Video features a 2.5-inch color QVGA white LED-backlit LCD screen, Click Wheel, Video playback, up to 14 hours of battery life, 30 GB hard drive, Dock Connector for charging and syncing, a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack, an exclusive U2 box set with U2 Poster, and iTunes Store $50-off coupon.

iPod U2 in general is the same as the iPod with Video, however, it had the distinctive color of the casing, autographs of U2 team members on the back casing, and a few extras.

This iPod has been discontinued on September 12, 2006.
