The Apple iPod shuffle 4th Generation is a portable MP3 player that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2010 to 2017 as part of the iPod series. The iPod has been introduced on September 1, 2010, and its price started at $49.
The new iPod shuffle features 5 colors; Silver, Blue, Green, Orange, and Pink, 15 hours of battery life, VoiceOver, Genius Mixes, 2 GB flash memory, a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack, and great audio quality.
On September 12, 2012, Apple has updated the product with new colors; Dark Gray “Slate”, Silver, Purple, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and (PRODUCT) RED.
On September 13, 2013, Apple discontinued the Dark Gray “Slate” color option and replaced it with a Space Gray color.
On July 15, 2015, has released the next update in this product with new colors; Space Gray, Gold, Silver, Pink, Blue, and (PRODUCT) RED.
This iPod has been discontinued on July 27, 2017. This generation of iPod shuffle was the last.
