The Apple iPod nano 5th Generation is a portable MP3 player designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2009 to 2010 as part of the iPod series. The iPod was introduced on September 9, 2009, and its price started at $149.

The new iPod nano features a lightweight aluminum case in 9 new colors; Silver, Black, Purple, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Pink, and (PRODUCT) RED, a 2.2-inch color LED-backlit LCD screen, VGA camera, 24-hour battery life, 8 or 16 GB of flash memory, Dock Connector for charging and syncing, and standard 3.5-mm headphone jack.

This iPod has been discontinued on September 1, 2010. Today iPod nano 5th Generation is 14 years old!
