iPod 5th Generation Late 2006


The Apple iPod 5th Generation Late 2006 (Enhanced) is a portable MP3 player that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2006 to 2007 as part of the iPod series. The iPod has been introduced on September 12, 2006, and its price started at $249.

The new iPod features a 2.5-inch color QVGA white LED-backlit LCD screen, Click Wheel, Video playback, up to 20 hours of battery life, 30 GB or 80 GB hard drive, Dock Connector for charging and syncing, and a standard 3.5-mm headphone jack.

This iPod is generally an iPod with Video, but this one version got a bigger hard drive 80 GB instead of 60 GB, iPod software has been optimized for longer battery life, 60% brighter display, and the set also included new headphones.

This iPod has been discontinued on September 5, 2007.
