The Apple iMac Special Edition Mid 2001 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple in 2001 as part of the iMac G3 series of iMac computers. The computer has been introduced on July 18, 2001, and its price started at $1499.

The new iMac Special Edition features a 700 MHz PowerPC 750cx G3 processor, 256 MB of RAM, 60 GB hard drive, 8x CD-RW drive, and 16 MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra graphics.
