The Apple iMac Special Edition Early 2001 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple in 2001 as part of the iMac G3 series of iMac computers. The computer has been introduced on February 22, 2001, alongside the iMac Early 2001 and its price started at $1499.

The new Special Edition of iMac features a 600 MHz PowerPC 750cx processor, 128 MB of RAM, 40 GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM drive, and 16 MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra graphics.

This iMac has been discontinued on July 18, 2001, and has been replaced in the same year by iMac Special Edition Mid 2001.
