The Apple iMac Mid 2001 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2001 to 2003 as part of the iMac G3 series of iMac computers. The computer has been introduced on July 18, 2001, and its price started at $799.
The new iMac features a 500 MHz or 600 MHz PowerPC 750cx G3 processor, 64 MB / 128 MB or 256 MB of RAM, 20 GB or 40 GB hard drive, 24x CD-ROM, or 8x CD-RW drive, and 16 MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra graphics.
iMac Mid 2001 with a 500 MHz processor was available in two colors – Indigo and Snow, while the iMac with a 600 MHz processor was available in Graphite or Snow.
This iMac has been discontinued on March 18, 2003, and has been replaced by the iMac with a Flat Panel Display.
