The Apple iMac G5 17-inch is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2004 to 2005 as part of the iMac G5 series of iMac computers. The computer has been introduced on August 31, 2004, and its price started at $1299.
The new iMac G5 features a 1.6 or 1.8 GHz PowerPC 970fx G5 processor, 256 MB of RAM, 17-inch LCD TFT Display, 80 GB hard drive, slot-loading 4x DVD-R/CD-RW “SuperDrive”, and 64 MB NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 Ultra graphics.
This iMac has been discontinued on May 3, 2005, and has been replaced by iMac G5 17-inch Mid 2005.
