The Apple iMac G5 17-inch Late 2005 is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2005 to 2006 as part of the iMac G5 series of iMac computers. The computer has been introduced on October 12, 2005, and its price started at $1299.
The new iMac G5 features a 1.9 GHz PowerPC 970fx G5 processor, 512 MB of RAM, 17-inch LCD TFT Display, 160 GB hard drive, slot-loading 8x DVD-ROM/CD-RW “Combo” drive, Ambient Light Sensor, iSight camera, built-in Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, USB 2.0 ports, standard AirPort Extreme Card, and 128 MB ATI Radeon X600 Pro graphics.
This iMac has been discontinued on January 10, 2006, and has been replaced by the iMac 17-inch Early 2006.
