The Apple Macintosh IIfx is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1990 to 1992 as part of the Macintosh II series of Macintosh computers. The computer has been introduced on March 19, 1990, and its price started at $8970.
The new Macintosh IIfx features a 40 MHz Motorola 68030 processor, Motorola 68882 FPU coprocessor, 4 MB of RAM, 80 MB or 160 MB hard drive, two 1.44 MB Floppy drives, and as an option Macintosh II video card.
The product has been discontinued on April 15, 1992.
