Macintosh 512K


The Macintosh 512K is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1984 to 1986 as part of the Macintosh series. The new Macintosh computer has been introduced on September 10, 1984, and its price started at $3195.

The new Macintosh features an 8 MHz Motorola 68000 processor, 9″ monochrome display, 512 KB of RAM, 400 KB floppy disk drive, and a dedicated operating system: Macintosh System Software.

This computer has been discontinued on April 14, 1986, and has been replaced by Macintosh 512Ke.

Today Macintosh 512K is 37 years old!
