The Apple IIe is a personal computer that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 1983 to 1985 as part of the Apple II series. The computer has been introduced on January 16, 1983, and its price started at $1395.
The new Apple IIe features a 1 MHz MOS Technology 6502A processor, 64 KB of RAM, 16 KB of ROM, a built-in 63-key uppercase and lowercase keyboard, and an optional Cassette Interface, Disk II, or DuoDisk floppy drive.
This computer has been discontinued on March 1, 1985, and has been replaced by Apple IIe Enhanced.
