The Apple Aluminum Keyboard is a pointing device that was designed, manufactured, and sold by Apple from 2009 to 2010 as part of the Apple Keyboard series. The Keyboard has been introduced on March 3, 2009, and its price started at $49.
This Keyboard has been introduced alongside new iMac Early 2009 computers and was a new version of a wired keyboard added to the bundle instead of an Apple Keyboard with a Numeric Keypad.
The full keyboard with a numeric pad remained available as a build-to-order option for an extra charge, and could also be purchased separately. Aluminum Keyboard is exactly the same as Apple Wireless Aluminum Keyboard, but that one it’s wired and needs a USB connection to the Mac.
The product has been discontinued on December 2, 2010.
Today Apple Aluminum Keyboard is 14 years old!
